The rare, ground-yellow bowl is in excellent condition without damage, decorated with traditionally exclusive double trim lines and 9 blue dragons around the inner and outer sides. It is heavy and large—15.5” across.

The white underside displays an honorific attribution to the Ming Dyansty Wanli emperor (1572–1620 萬曆). This is neither Ming, nor a “fake”. Using honorific old dynasty markings was normal practice earlier in the 20th century.
