This is a large (12.6) Native American Stone Tool, found in the Black Mountains of Arizona where I live. It appears to be from the Late Pleistocene period (the last Ice Age) to about 9,000 years ago (7000 BC). These were the 1st ancestors to inhabit the Americas.
This stone tool was used either as a weapon or to break up the soil for growing crops. My experts can\'t decide exactly what type of tool it is, but they said it\'s very obvious that it was used for \'heavy duty\' tasks.
It honestly should be in a museum, but since I have already donated to enough museums here in Arizona, I decided to sell some of the ancient artifacts that I find on my hikes to those who want to own a piece of history.. All of my ancient stones that I sell on here, are 1st sent to personal connections of mine (Archaeologist & Geologist) who will bluntly tell me whether or not the stone I brought is an actual artifact, or just a rock that looks like an artifact.
